Konsa butterfly wall ties connect the leaves of brick cavity walls to support stable masonry construction. They are made from fully galvanised mild-steel wire, with standard lengths and wire diameters listed in the size table. Select a tie length normally 20–30 mm shorter than the total wall thickness, subject to the wall design. Typical usage is approximately 3–4 ties per square metre; custom sizes can be supplied on request.

Standard ties are manufactured from 32 mm × 1.6 mm galvanised strip in several lengths, with custom dimensions available for project-specific details. Galvanised Bat Ties

Galvanised bat ties provide a preformed alternative to cutting hoop iron when connecting brickwork to concrete columns or pillars. The flat tie can be fixed to the supporting structure using the fastening method specified for the project, then embedded into the masonry joint. Standard lengths are available, and custom lengths can be manufactured. Confirm the fixing, embedment and spacing with the wall design before installation.
